Antonietta Collins
Antonietta Toni Collins is a Mexican American sportscaster. She works for ESPN and is an SportsCenter anchor for news. She began her career at ESPN in 2016. The child of TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual from her age of nine. It is this skill which helped her obtain her first role as an Univision production assistant in Miami. In Miami, she was a producer for television shows that were national, like Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. It was the CBS subsidiary in St. Petersburg hired her following this to become an sports reporter. The couple divorced shortly after and in 1995 her mother was remarried to one of the naval architects named Fabio Fajardo who passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. In the summer of the year 2006, Antonietta spent an entire week with her sister at Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was employed there. Antonietta was the senior of her high school and had a very clear vision of what she wanted to do in her future career. She visited Mount Union University to determine if they suited her. It turned out that she enjoyed the university and that the school had the program she desired. She graduated from high school and was enrolled in media studies at the college. The professor she had was Mark Bergmann, who managed WRMU FM and was a student in her class, formed an ongoing relationship with her. Mark Bergmann was the person who instilled her confidence, and his passion in Journalism touched her deeply. She determined to meet his demands always delivering on time.
